So, I have less than a month to sell my cutlass, so I’m upping the ante - the Oppo discount is half off the original price of $1000. !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!
When I move, my parents and I are planning on getting a GMT400 with the extended cab. Why? Because if I want another vehicle, it has to be practical. Plus, I’ve always liked these things.
What does Oppo think of my plan?

I think your plan needs more LS7.

I was thinking more LSA.

Does it have 455 cubic inches of mad power?

I know why it isn’t selling. It needs to be marketed in the newspaper. The 2 groups of people it appeals to are enthusiasts and old people. There are more old people than enthusiasts, so because old people are the main audience for the paper, it needs to be advertised there.

Yes! GMT400!

GMT400s are GOOOD. I had an ‘88 C1500 Silverado regular cab. 305ci V8. Had about 380k miles on the clock when I sold it, all original, no rebuilds. Still see it around, pulling a landscaping trailer. Would do anything to have it back.

No, LG4 means 305 Chevrolet with a 4-barrel.

You hit the nail on the head as to why I want a GMT400 - durability.

Indeed. They’re great trucks. Heck, GM makes great trucks in general. My friend’s dad, who loves Fords, is picking up a 2011 GMT900 crew cab on Tuesday. It's a beautiful truck.

I put the 455 because biggest olds engine. Bigger is better for lots of things: motors, cash piles, other things.

You're not lying.

Here’s the GMT900.

I like it a lot. My granddad has an ‘11 Z71 extended cab in black. Great truck.

Oh yeah, they're fantastic trucks. This one has the 5.3, locking diff, and 3.42 rear gears. It's fairly sprightly for anything with six seats.

Absolutely. Basically any truck with a healthy V8 is gonna be relatively fast. My F150 has the 5.4 and a 3.73 rear end. It can get up and go.

They wanted an F-150 with the 5.4 but stuck with the 4.6 for reliability reasons.

Mine is at over 195k and we've had it since February 2004. The only thing we've had to do to it was get the tranny rebuilt like 5k miles ago. It's been super solid.

They took their F-150 from 68k to 186k with no problems at all. Mind you, they have also had three Mark IV VWs with no problems whatsoever, so they may just be lucky.
